Procedure changes for 2020 tax filing season
to keep everyone safe and healthy, we are limiting our face-to-face meetings with clients as much as possible this tax season.
please see below for this years step by step process
1. Get your tax documents to us: Drop off, mail, email (DpDeRemer@hirep.net), or NEW this year, our secure tax program portal or smart phone app. (Please contact us if you are interested in one of these new options.)
2. We prepare the taxes.
3. We contact you when they are completed: Discuss together what your preference is to review the taxes, sign the forms, and pay your invoice.
4. Review/Sign/Pay: This could be by telephone, Zoom conference call, walk in pick up, mail, curbside in your vehicle, or our new tax program portal.
You will still see the ability to schedule your own tax appointment with us on our website, but keep in mind that these appointments will just be for completed tax reviews via telephone or Zoom conference call. WE WILL NEED STEPS 1 & 2 COMPLETED FIRST.
